Most, if not all productions shown on UPDATE #001 were created after September'97, when SCENE STRIKE 2 took place, and the UPDATE's intention was to present the best productions released in the last quarter of 1997. The biggest role in this demo showdown was of course occupied by demonstrations released at THE PARTY 7 held from December, 27th to 29th in Denmark.
After the demo showdown several things happened. Green Tooth/NEVERMIND approached and handed over the disks with their latest slideshow so we helped them in the spreading. Knight Rider used organisers computer to copy their AMIGA FRONT disk mag to the people interested, we got our copy too and spread it the next day. And of course, there were many people who wanted to copy the demonstrations shown on big screen, which we hapilly did and will continue to do it in the future, since demo spread is very important these days, especially here where it is very bad...
